SeeMyBeach staff has donated their time making videos, Ric visits and speaks in schools with Izabella and our parent company just donated her all new website. We are encouraged by seeing children like Izabella take a direct role in shaping their future. Izabella organizes groups of children to take cleaning litter into their on hands. SaveTheManatee.org is an amazing organization that is making a positive impact on the manatee population in Florida and they have been part of our mission since the beginning. We promote their events and always do a big holiday promotion for them and our own annual Christmas cards are from SaveTheManatee.org. They will always be part of our mission and they should be part of your charity giving as well. A lot of people don’t know that Save The Manatee was founded by former Florida govenor, Bob Graham and Jimmy Buffet and we thank them both.

Susan and Gary Ellis created Redbone organization in 1984 after their own daughter, Nicole was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. They, along with friends like the legendary Ted Williams founded this organization that is making an amazing impact on this disease. They raise money through fishing tournaments in the Florida Keys and their commitment to finding a cure for this disease and their love for their daughter is an example for all others to follow. Saving Ocean Life was founded in 2015 by then 11 year old Joey Goldstein. SOL, as it is known, organizes 4 major cleanups a year and motivates children year-round. Joey’s passion is cleaning the ocean and making the world a better place for all creatures to live. We have been supporters of Newman’s Own since before SeeMyBeach. When we had DoggyBling.com, Ric offered Newman’s Own a free ad and in all honesty was slightly offended when he got a call from Paul Newmans daughter Claire who said Mr. Newman looking over the website and would give me a yes or no soon. Ric said “you know this is a free ad”. She said Mr. Newman had to approve everywhere his name was used. Ric received a call 2 days later from Paul Newman himself saying he loved the website and thanking him for the free ad. Paul said that he really appreciated free promotion because it allowed him to get promotion without using money from the organization. We really love the mission of the Marc House. Their mission is to help developmentally disabled adults find their own purpose in life. for so long, these people were basically “housed” privately for their own protection. The Marc House saw the value these people could bring to the world and work hard to give them a purpose. You’ll find their guests doing jobs that seem trivial to you and me, but are life changing for them. Chain of Love was Founded by Mirta Maltes who is a law enforcement ranger in the Everglades. She witnesses horrible cruelty to animals by lowlife and worthless humans. The dogs plight is not taken seriously by judges who see their value as monetary. (How is it that lawyers are “lowlifes”, but when that same lawyer becomes a “judge”, all of the sudden he is honorable? Just sayin”…). Cruelty to animals needs to be taken seriously because the same coward that mistreats animals will mistreat anything weaker than them, women, children, animals. Mirta and her organization goes into the Everglades and rescues these animals. We’ve had the opportunity to work with them a couple of times and hope you will support her organization. We’ve worked with the Turtle Hospital several times and even covered the release of Hillary the Turtle in Islamorada. Danielle interviewed the Founder, Ritchie Moretti and others from the organization. They provide an amazing service to these beautiful creatures who need us so much.
